We are currently looking for senior and junior Geomatics staff to join our teams in Reading; Leeds and Handforth.
For the Surveyors the principal duties will include the undertaking of project work in Topographic, Hydrographic and Deformation Surveys using modern practices and equipment, opportunities exist for surveyors with experience in these disciplines and in GIS. You will also be responsible for processing 3D data, dealing with varied client requirements, financial performance, managing and training junior staff and contributing to the skill group development.
For these senior positions the successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years relevant experience with a first degree in a related discipline, and possibly be a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors RICS.
For the Assistant Surveyor the principal duties will include assisting with the undertaking of project related survey work and supporting senior staff in data processing.
We offer structured training for all staff including these junior roles and actively encourage personal development towards recognised educational and professional qualifications. As such these junior positions are open to all bright, ambitious individuals with a sound education, but not necessarily with any survey related experience.
For both grades the ability to demonstrate competent IT skills would be an advantage and a full clean driving licence is essential.
You will need to be organised, self-motivated, reliable and physically fit to undertake field work.
