Description:
The staff in the office provide the key interface between our clients and our production facilities in the UK and overseas. Current projects include new pits at Silverstone, several PFI projects and a wide variety of defence related work.
There are opportunities for overseas travel both short term and long term. Our training regime will give you the exposure to all aspects of engineering design and construction and in June, eight of our staff were successful in becoming chartered engineers.
Within this context, your typical duties will include:
Day-to-day running of project(s)
Undertaking and supervising design/drawings
Liaison with other professionals and clients where appropriate.
Qualifications:
Degree in civil/structural engineering is essential, while you will be making good progress toward chartered status with the ICE or IstructE.
Experience:
You will demonstrate a sound grasp of structural engineering principles and practical details. Significant experience in innovative, prestigious, and/or large projects will be considered favourably.
Personal Qualities:
You will be team player, able to use initiative and capable of working responsibly alone when occasions demand.
