Our Client based in Filton are looking for a large number of Structural Design Engineers (x20)
Reole / Requirements
The requirement is for a specialist in Structures Design to work within the Airframe Design Group. The role is to technically lead a team of structural designers producing concept designs, schemes and data for manufacture within the A380 programme.
To be responsible for the technical deliverance of the conceptual design and to give guidance to Designers / Engineers.
Ideally candidates will have a degree or HND in a relevant engineering field and a minimum of 8 years experience of Structural Design within the aerospace industry.
Experience of CADDS5 or CATIA would be advantageous although applications from candidates with experience in other design packages would be considered.
Relevant experience in one or more of the following fields would be desirable - Hydraulic Systems - Electronic Systems - Pneumatic Systems - Fuel Systems.
Successful applicants will have good communication skills and a pro-active approach to problem solving coupled with a good understanding of aircraft production methods and processes
