Intermediate / Senior Quantity Surveyor
As a result of continuing expansion , They are seeking a commercially - minded construction professional with a BSC in Quantity Surveying or at least 5 years in depth experience of working contractor side on M & E services.
MUST BE PRO-ACTIVE AND POSITIVE
Examination of Tender Enquiry documentation and liaison in respect of same with Sales and Estimating Departments.
Commercial Management of projects in accordance with company procedures including continual review and maintenance of cost control through to Final Account utilizing computer applications.
Submission of payment applications together with monitoring of proper certification and credit control.
Preparation, submission and negotiation of Final Accounts including proper and timely submission of variations and other account items. Provision of Contractual and financial advice to project team and /or other Company members.
Ensuring action taken as required by Contract Agreements to protect the \company and enable entitlement to Extensions of time and where appropriate Loss and Expense. Preparation of Extension of Time and Loss and Expense claims.
Control of Procurement costs including sub-contracts and major plant items.
They will pay around £25 - £35K plus car, plus contributory pension, plus share option, plus incentive scheme. Maybe more to the right person.
