This company are looking for a Surveyor to be based in their South Yorkshire office, including site work.
Reporting to the Design Manager within the Engineering Function. Duties will include: Establishing vertical and horizontal control. Adjusting traverse co-ordinates. Collecting and identifying topographical detail accurately. Processing survey data. Producing site and engineering data (drawings, spreadsheets etc).
You must have a minimum of 5 years experience in general surveying, preferably within a railway engineering environment, Good IT Skills & experience of working with CAD.
Excellent communication skills are essential, with the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
The position could lead to role of Surveyor/Designer, subject to satisfactory development.
