This Process Control company are looking for a Project Engineer.
Experience:
Knowledge of control and safety system applications and integration for the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical or pharmaceutical industries with site experience.
Experience of control system design throughout the project lifecycle from initial design concepts through to installation and subsequent client support.
Software design experience of control systems with PLC (Allen Bradley, GE Fanuc or Siemens), HMI (Cimplicity, InTouch or Plantscape) or DCS (Honeywell, Yokagawa or Delta V) based platforms. Experience of third party systems integration. Knowledge of communications protocols (Modbus, Ethernet, Profibus, DeviceNet, ControlNet or Genius).
Hardware design experience relating to control system equipment (panels, control desks and control rooms) and integration of other manufacturers equipment. Hazardous Area Design and specification / selection of F&G equipment.
Demonstrable evidence of similar work performed to a competent standard over a period of at least 3 years.
Job Requirements: Implementation of appropriate engineering solutions from company functional and detailed design specifications.
To perform work in compliance with the company’s QA Standards and Procedures. Support process improvement activities.
Plan, schedule, coordinate and monitor resources for small scale projects including setting and managing time-scales and budgets. Provide verbal and written reports to communicate project status as required and contribute to project review meetings.
Perform peer reviews of project deliverables.
Team player with the ability to integrate with other team project members.
Qualifications: A Degree/HND or similar qualification in a relevant engineering discipline. Member of a Professional Engineering Body (e.g. IEE), or actively seeking membership.
Computer literate, with experience of PC-based word-processing, spreadsheet and database programs.
