Our Client based in North-West London are a brand leader loft conversion company operating predominantly in the west and south-west London area. Due to the continuing growth of our business they are now seeking to fill positions to compliment their existing team so that they can provide their customers with a complete in-house service
Qualified Structural Engineer
To prepare plans and structural calculations of the conversions, particularly specification of the steel beams required, for the Building Regulations approval. The role would also involve the preparation and submission of both Planning and Building Applications - either CAD or hand-drawn.
This position will involve site visits to carry out the measured surveys of the properties and firm up the design brief with customers. You will be working from the head office in north-west London, as part of a team who deal with the initial client enquiry, survey to assess feasibility and quotation, through to completion of the projects. You will be expected to have a full knowledge of the relevant statutory requirements and previous experience in the residential sector would be beneficial.
You will need to possess a full clean driving licence and preferably be a non smoker. The package includes an attractive salary, car, private health insurance, mobile phone and generous holiday entitlement.
