Job Description
Role:
Provision of support Quantity Surveying Services on the Cost Consultancy framework for Regional Water Company based in our Newcastle office.
Responsibilities:
Preparing cost estimates during feasibility study/conceptual design stage of projects; Assistant/Lead surveyor responsible for the cost management of Contractors field operations on projects; Responsible for co-ordinating the activities of an assistant surveyor; Responsible for the agreement of Target Costs; Providing advice on the certification of monthly valuations and actual cost auditing; Site measurement and provision of reports for Water Company management;

Skills Required
Professionalism; People skills; Proactive; Proficient in written and oral communication skills; A grounding in basic Quantity Surveying skills is required.
Experience
Experience in the water industry would be beneficial but is not essential, as full training will be given.
Capabilities
The individual must be able to work on their own initiative in a professional manner and have the confidence to represent the company directly to the client.
