Role:
The company has been retained to provide commercial expertise on a major rail project. Due to increased project activity the following role has become available. To provide a service to the Alliance to ensure that all relevant procedures are complied with on Signalling construction activities. Responsible to the Assistant Commercial Manager for the successful financial management of the Signalling construction activities.
Responsibilities:
Work within the commercial department as Discipline Quantity Surveyor with the following responsibilities:- Oversee the QS functions for the Signalling section of works including: Remeasurement as required. Interim valuation preparations and period end cost report and cost forecasts. Evaluate variations as required. Checking subcontract applications. Actioning correspondence. Assist with Target Cost preparation. Attend meetings and liase between construction and design teams. Assist construction and design management with commercial matters as necessary. Management of signalling financial affairs Participate in: Commercial Meetings Discipline Meetings Subcontract Meetings
Knowledge
Essential Experienced Quantity Surveyor Desirable Qualified to degree level.
