Our client was established in 1971 as a specialist foundation and multi-product engineering company, they have developed into the leading foundation engineering contracter in the UK and Ireland. From initiating small diameter minipiling, the Group has expanded into all aspects of piling and onward into the provision of complete design and constuct foundation packages. Due to their continued expansion they require a Assistant Quantity Surveyor at their Preston office. The successful candidates main duties will include Vetting and the agreements of contracts and warranties with clients. You will also carry out the compilation and reporting of contract results, valuations, applications and invoices. The preparation of tenders and estimates, liaision with the Contracts Manager regarding cost implications of site activities and cost management of sub contracters. You will have experience with Standard Forms and a working knowledge of contracts from within the construction industry. You will be keen and enthusiatic and be part of a dynamic and ambitious team.
