Senior and Assistant Planners - Health Clinic Construction

Midlands business currently has opportunities for Senior and Assistant Planning Staff for site-based planning roles in the above geographical locations for health clinics and doctors` surgery building projects, ranging from £5m to £15m. For Assistant Planner positions, we are seeking graduate planners with several years` planning experience.
This is the first of several tranches of such projects which are expected to provide continuity of work over a 5 year period in these areas.
Senior Planner applicants should have more extensive experience.
Duties will include:
Developing the tender programme to contract status, including integration of design, procurement and construction activities as appropriate to the contract
Production of long and short term programmes for sectional and elemental sections of the building works
Monitoring and reporting progress performance
Lateral thinking to the approach of methods and sequencing of work
Amending programmes to reflect any changes to the scope of works
Liaising with colleagues, designers, sub-contractors and suppliers in developing programmes
Being pro-actively involved in helping ensure labour, plant, material and information resources are available at the right time to meet the programme
The management of information flow into the project and distribution to those who require it
The management of the design process under Design and Build projects and for "Contractor Design Portion" (CDP) packages within other forms of contract, co-ordinating sub-contractors` input into the design process
The management of information queries
Attending project and Client meetings as necessary
The skills you require are:
Computer literacy in Windows and MS Office software
Experience of PC-based project management systems would be advantageous (they use PowerPoint Teamplan)
Good communication skills
Ability to work within an enthusiastic team environment.
