Job Title: Structural Technician

Location: East Midlands
Summary: Preferable have a minimum of one years experience in the railway industry and hold a valid Personal Track Safety certificate, experience specific to rail bridges and other rail structures would be an advantage. Have or be working towards (a as a minimum) a Ordinary National Certificate in Civil or Structural Engineering. Be willing to work overtime including weekend night shifts, hold a full UK driving licence, be medically fit and willing to work outdoors throughout the year.
Assist project team members in producing engineering sketches/drawings from developed designs.
Undertake minor engineering designs with provision of written and documented calculations.
Accurately check engineering drawings prior to submission for approval.
Assist project team members in collating technical information from on-site surveys and inspections and other sources.
Attending regular team meetings to review project progress.
Assist in the upkeep of all project technical document control records.
Implement company quality procedures on all projects.
Binding of reports, printing and collation of drawings.
Ensure compliance with Health and Safety, Environmental and other appropriate regulations. |
