Associate – Transport and Development
They have a vacancy for an ambitious Associate to take a leading role in the development of a young office with a fast growing workload. The Liverpool office has been set up to respond to the unprecedented opportunities in Merseyside arising from the influx of European funding, major private sector investment and the development impact of the European Capital of Culture award. Current commissions for private and public sector clients include transport studies and development infrastructure for large scale regeneration areas, specialist studies for the Merseytram LRT project, transport assessments for prestige city centre development, urban and rural passenger transport studies and strategic transport advice. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, with proven skills in transport consultancy and team building. Experience of development and regeneration projects and working with private sector clients will be an advantage. Immediate responsibilities will include management and technical inputs to ongoing projects and working with the resident Divisional Director on business development. The opportunity exists for fast track career development in line with office growth. The working environment is proactive and informal and there is an excellent team of talented graduates and technicians supported by visiting specialists from other offices.
