With an expanding workload of diverse and challenging projects, our Client seeks to recruit an experienced and motivated Highways Engineer/Technician to join their Highways team in Chester.
Managing a small professional design team, dedicated to a customer-focused approach, you will be undertaking general highways & infrastructure design in both private & public sectors. Responsibilities will include administration of projects up to £5m, preparing design to adaptable standards, delivering projects to time and budget.
The ideal candidate should hold a HND or Degree in civil engineering and will preferably be chartered or near chartered, with a sound knowledge of relevant standards and contracts. Experience of MX software is essential, as are good communication & management skills, and the ability to interact well with team, clients and contractors.
