Requirements: We require a Senior CAD Technician to work within our Integrated Building Group in our Leeds office. The candidate will have a minimum of 4 years experience as a Structural Technician and be a competent user of AutoCAD 2002.
Details: The role/responsibilities for this role are:
Ability to communicate technical subjects Undertake drawing work including general arrangements and detailing for civil and structural projects Assist in the development of systems and procedures to ensure that the CAD System is used effectively. Provide guidance and advice to design engineers and technicians on the planning and management of advanced CAD techniques. Prepare technical schedules Ensure senior staff are kept informed of important and relevant service/design decisions and the objectives of the client are achieved. Continually ensuring that practices, policies, strategy and services represent the clients best interests and that company policy is in keeping with current legislation, British Standards and Codes of Practice etc. Be able to inspection of construction works and make visit to construction sites and off site fabrication facilities Be able to write inspection reports: should be familiar with Microsoft Word. (BASED EITHER LEEDS OR LONDON)
