This company is one of the fastest growing organisations in the construction sector with a turnover in excess of £1.6billion.
They are seeking an environmental manager for a recently awarded cross-country pipeline to carry gas between Ilchester and Plymouth. The project is scheduled for completion in December 2008. Reporting to the Project Manager and based out of the project office in Exeter, this key responsibilities of this role will include:
Management of environmental aspects of the project in accordance with our company procedures and ISO14001.
The preparation of environmental.
Liaison separately with statutory and non-statutory bodies relating to licenses, consents and authorisations.
Management of specialise environmental consultants.
Preparation and delivery of methods and procedures to ensure that the company meets all of their statutory obligations in regard to the environment.
The successful applicant will:
Hold a recognised qualification in engineering or science as well as a recognised environmental qualification.
Have 3 years post-qualification experience environmental role.
Have a clean driving licence.
Possess excellent interpersonal and IT skills. |
