Ideally you should have at least 10 years experience, be RIBA members or have an equivalent professional qualification. Combine with experience of leading a multidiscpline design team. Good leadership and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will provide an essential interface between designers; aspirations and buildability, programming and commercial concerns of the project teams.
