This position is responsible for the design of new products and the modification and upkeep of existing products. The minimum formal educational requirements for this role are HNC or equivalent, although relevant experience will superside this.
Experience of using AutoCAD 2002 and the preparation of engineering drawings is essential.
Microsoft Office skills on Word, Excel and Access.
Several years industry knowledge gained performing these same tasks for an architectural systems supplier is desirable, along with a proven track record of innovative design solutions and knowledge of competitor systems.
Experience required on:
Design Methods, Testing of facades, Tooling, Window/door hardware, Glass and glazing, Site installation, Acoustics, Thermal performance, Security enhancement. |
