They are looking for a CAD Technician to join their Building Services team based in our Leeds office. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following skills and abilities:
Participate in the development of company wide Building Services CAD system and procedures, by attending a Monthly Building Services CAD meeting. Participate in establishing training sessions for the Prepare mechanical and/or electrical design calculations in accordance with agreed QMS procedures. Maintain project design files in accordance with agreed QMS procedures. Liaise with the Job Leaders to ensure that all projects are set up and run following the standard set of the company procedures. Prepare mechanical and/or electrical ACAD drawings in accordance with agreed QMS procedures. Prepare competition and submission drawings/schematics etc. to a high quality. Assist where required in the bid management; organising graphic design resource, printing/ publishing, commercial input, input and delivery. Organise new project set up within the group. Maintain an informed position on all projects within the group.
Details: You will have: HND in a related architecture or engineering subject is a minimum criteria. Good computer and IT skills including spreadsheets and databases. Confident, proactive character, with the ability to take the lead in challenging situations. Experience of working on a one to one basis and in team working situations. Fully computer literate Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and Microsoft Outlook. Fully computer literate in Autocad 2003. Fully computer literate in Adobe photoshop, illustrator and other presentation packages. Experience working in 3D environments. including working with BS Link and other 3D packages.
