A successful private family business established in 1946. They are the UK market leaders in design and manufacture of street furniture, cycle shelters and covered walkways. Due to continued success and steady business growth they are looking for a CAD Surveyor.
Based in the drawing office, they require a experienced surveyor to assist their Site Engineer to undertake nationwide site surveys.
From a Civil or building construction background you will visit site to perform measured pre/post installation surveys using both automatic and laser level technology. Depending on your knowledge and experience of AutoCad and/or microstation they will provide thorough training.
Good tape and data recording skills are essential along with a full, clean driving licence and a flexible approach to overnight stays may be required.
You will be tasked with completing site surveys and returning to the drawing office to draw up `empty` general arrangements of the sites and hand over to the design team.
A current CSCS card and a appreciation of site health and safety would be an advantage, although training will be given if necessary.
