Candidates should be of chartered or near-chartered status and possess an appropriate degree with at least ten years post-graduate experience in Civil Engineering.
Applicants should possess experience in all design aspects of both new public highways and the improvement of existing highways under Sections 38 and 278 of the Highways Act 1980, and in the design of drainage schemes suitable for adoption under Section 104 of the Water Industry Act 1991.
Candidates should preferably have a good working knowledge of MX (highway design), HydroWorks/MicroDrainage and ISIS/MIKEFLOOD software packages, with experience within the following sub-disciplines: flood risk assessments; sustainable urban drainage systems and surface water management schemes. The successful applicant will help to develop the capabilities of the Construction Group whilst delivering small to medium-sized projects on time and within budget. |
