Reporting to the Head of Comms, the Commercial Manager will be responsible for the financial management of the division to maximise commercial success and profitability. The role will encompass the complete commercial management function from providing pre-tender advice on contractual conditions, resource management, establishing project budgets, developing timely reporting systems, through to the management of the final accounts.
Job Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have at least eight year`s experience in a Senior Quantity Surveying or Commercial role within a construction or contracting environment. Essential requirements of the role include a broad knowledge of construction contracts, excellent leadership and communication skills, commercial acumen and IT literacy. A third level qualification in a construction related discipline (preferably Quantity Surveying) and Telecoms experience would be a distinct advantage. Although based at their Manchester office, travel throughout the UK is an essential aspect of this role. |
