As part of continued expansion, this company need a Trainee Quantity Surveyor to assist their Commercial team with quantity surveying activities for various Civil Engineering and piling projects throughout the UK.
A team-player, you will have excellent written/verbal communications skills and an organised flexible approach. Strong I.T. skills are a must - as is the ability to work accurately and effectively under pressure. Some travel is required, so a current driving licence is essential.
This role will suit someone either studying towards a Q.S. qualification, or a HNC qualification in a construction-related subject, or someone looking to progress academically who has the necessary entry qualification for a degree/HNC course.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone wanting to gain valuable field experience, as well as a recognised qualification.
Tasks will include:
Chasing payments.
Preparing commercial and contractual correspondence.
Preparing internal valuations and financial reports.
As the candidate progresses through their training, the tasks will grow with them. |
