My client are looking for chartered or near chartered engineers with proven design ability up to Principal level.
Applicants should have been similarly employed in the UK for at least the last 12 months and have a comprehensive design background. They should be familiar with design in most commonly used materials; steel, concrete, masonry, timber. Bridge design and/or temporary works design experience, particularly in a rail environment, would be an advantage but not essential. Applicants at Principal level should have bridge design experience.
The successful candidates will be joining a group of approximately 25 engineers and technicians initially. He/she will have a varied workload, working within or leading design teams on projects with up to £5M typical contract values initially, or larger projects for individuals with greater experience.
The positions offer the opportunity for further career development leading to possible Director/Partner position in due course within the expanding organisation and proven ability will be duly recognised.
Expected salary £35K - £55K negotiable + package, depending upon ability and experience. |
