Chartered on within 1 year of becoming Chartered.
Qualifications: B.Eng or M.Eng in Civil and/or Structural Engineering.
Experience in the design and detailing of reinforced concrete to BS8110, BS8007, BS5400 or EC2.
Experience in the design and detailing of structural steelwork to BS5950, BS5400 or EC3.
Experience in the inspection of building structures, railway or highway bridges or tunnels, particularly in steelwork or masonry.
Experience in the use of 2D frame analysis and TEDDS.
Familiarity with Network Rail standards and procedures would be advantageous.
Ability to multi task, manage projects including cost control, manage subcontractors such as topographical surveyors and roped access inspection teams, prepare method statements for investigation works and control them on site. |
