An excellent opportunity has arisen within an established kitchen manufacturer to join their friendly team on a permanent basis. An experienced kitchen designer, with a good working knowledge of CAD systems is required to work within the small but busy developer department.
Reporting to the Operations Director, the successful candidate will possess excellent design, interpersonal and communication skills, be organized, able to work to tight deadlines and budgets, be proactive and self-motivated, able to work on their own and as part of a team.
The role includes: Using PLANIT to produce kitchen plans from architectural drawings. Producing detailed unit listings to each plan. Using Microsoft EXCEL to produce accurate and detailed costing summaries. Liaising closely with area sales managers, installation managers, surveyors and the order processing team. Visiting site and liaising with buyers and specifiers on a regular basis. Maintaining an accurate up-to-date work log. Maintaining an effective and accurate drawing revision system. Reporting on status and turnaround of all quotes
