The right candidate will be responsible for establishing continuity of business with the existing client base in addition to working closely with the Director to develop new client bases across numerous sectors.
You will ultimately be responsible for the development and management of a dedicated CDM Coordination department within the division including liason and interaction with other CDM Coordinators throughout the practise on a national basis. Clients requiring CDM Cordinators services are both internal and external.
Requirements: The candidate will be NEBOSH/IOSH qualified (or equivalent) , APS membership preffered , but not essential.Degree - not all essential, a combination of elements would be considered. Driving license. A broad design and construction experience ,good communication skills , a sound knowledge of safety legislation and the ability to assess designs and method statements for their safety implications and the interpretation of the CDM regulations are all requirements. Desirable experience in CDM projects preferably as Planning Supervisor/CDM Co-ordinator but would consider experienced construction related individual with solid H&S experience.
Responsible for the provision of CDM Coordination services to both internal and external clients and the development of the services into a dedicated division.
Existing and prospective sectors include ; Commercial , Defence , Industrial , Power , Aviation , Emergency Services , Telecommunications , Renewables.
The suitable candidate must have knowledge of the design process and function, an understanding of construction techniques , methodology and thorough understanding of CDM and associated regulations. Must be flexible, self motivated, influential and a persuasive communicator
Salary range: £30 to £35k. Based Cheadle, Cheshire.
