JOB PURPOSE: Undertaking a key role within the Company`s creative design team, means that you are an energetic and highly creative thinker. You have a passion for design and the ability to undertake the creative design, detailed development and onsite implementation of innovative 3D design solutions for exhibition stands and stage sets at pharmaceutical trade shows and standalone meetings across the globe. MAIN DUTIES: Г Creative thinking and innovative interpretation of a client brief Г Design and implement effective design solutions both as a part of a team or under own initiative Г Liaison between clients, internal teams, and external suppliers Г Effective presentation of ideas to both senior management and clients PARTICULAR FEATURES OF THE JOB: Г Analytical, clear thinker with the ability to interpret communication objectives into creative and innovative event based solutions Г Self-motivated with an enthusiasm to develop and progress your career Г Capable of packaging creative proposals into cohesive and engaging presentation media Г Proficient in the use of computer technology and 3D design software, ideally in an exhibit related environment Г Accurate production of comprehensive technical construction drawings Г Solid knowledge of bespoke construction techniques, materials and their limitations Г Competent in both written and verbal communication Г The ability to communicate your ideas with confidence and enthusiasm Г Demonstrate a financial awareness of the design and production process Г The Ability to manage the on-site installation unsupervised and with confidence Г Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines on multiple projects Г Able to work under your own initiative or as part of a larger team Г A necessity to work extended hours and occasional weekends is integral to this market sector, specifically the position of Exhibition Designer Г Frequent International and UK travel SKILLS: Ideal candidate must be a specialist in exhibit design, with a degree and experience in exhibition design or related three dimensional design discipline (architecture/furniture etc..)
