My client is a leading Specialist Building and Civil Engineering Company, undertaking specialist installations of Structural Waterproofing, Movement Joints and Roofing Systems, to include New Build and Refurbished projects, working as main and sub-contractor. As part of their planned growth, they have the following vacancy: INTERMEDIATE QUANTITY SURVEYOR.
Reporting to the Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the commercial management of a number of ongoing projects. You will interface with both Main Contractors and Sub-Contractors, undertake site measures, attend meetings and endeavour to maximise profit for the company by the preparation and settlement of interim and final accounts. This will include the preparation and settlement of contractual claims and the agreement of sub-contractors accounts.
You will be expected to be self-motivated and commercially astute, with the confidence to represent the Company`s interests in various forums and contractual circumstances. You will be a team player who isn`t afraid to ask questions to aid your development. You will be driven and motivated with a passion for the job and want to progress within the field of Quantity Surveying. Ideally you will have a relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying and Construction experience is preferred. |
